Who we are

Dermazur is a laser and skin clinic at 2695 rue Machabée, Ville Saint‑Laurent (Montréal), Québec, H4K 1J9 · (438) 906‑5777 · info@dermazur.ca. The person in charge of personal information protection is Badia Radouani, reachable at the details above.

What we collect

• Appointment requests: name, phone, email, desired treatment, preferred date and time of day.
• Intake form (new clients): date of birth and a few health questions needed to prepare your treatment safely.
• Conversations with the virtual assistant: the content of your messages (website chat, or texts along with your phone number).
• Photos you text us: if you text us a photo (for example to get an exact price or to show us an area), it is stored with our texting provider, Twilio, not on our website. Badia can view it from her private console. Please send only the photos that are needed, and you may request their deletion at any time.
• No advertising, no profiling. The site sets no advertising cookie and does not follow you from one site to another. Your preferences (language, sound) stay in your browser.
• Anonymous visit counts. We count page views to see what is useful: how many people visit the site, which pages, and where they arrive from. This counter sets no cookie, does not keep your IP address, and cannot identify you. It is provided by Vercel, the site's host.

Why we use it

To manage your appointments (confirmations, reminders, follow‑ups), answer your questions, keep treatments safe, and invite you to leave a review after a visit. We never sell your information and never add you to mailing lists without your consent.

The virtual assistant (AI)

Azur, our chat and texting assistant, is automated with artificial intelligence. It informs you and passes your requests along, but gives no medical advice, and the exact appointment time is always confirmed by a person at the clinic. Please avoid sharing health information that isn't necessary.

Where your information lives

The site is designed and technically administered by Répond Allo, our Montréal technology partner, with trusted providers: Vercel (hosting), Upstash (database), Resend (email), Twilio (texting) and Anthropic (AI processing of conversations). Their servers may be located outside Québec and Canada (mainly in the United States). Each acts only to provide this service to Dermazur.

Retention

• The content of your conversations with the assistant (website chat and texts) is automatically deleted after 14 days. Photos sent by text remain with our texting provider beyond that period; write to us to have them deleted.
• One exception: if a conversation is needed to handle a dispute, a complaint or a disagreement (about a price or an appointment time, for example), the clinic may keep it on file beyond 14 days. This is a manual step, with a recorded reason — never automatic; every other conversation really is erased after 14 days. You may write to us to ask whether one of your conversations is being kept, and to request its deletion.
• Separately, we keep for 40 days a simple record that a phone number (for texts) or a chat session contacted us on a given date. It is used only for statistics and contains no messages.
• A copy of your chat conversation is also kept in your own browser, so you find it again if you come back to the site. It erases itself after 2 days without activity, and you can erase it right away with the "New conversation" button shown at the top of a resumed conversation. On a shared device, use that button before you hand it over.
• Appointment requests and intake forms are kept as long as needed for the service, then deleted on request.

Your rights

You may request access to your information, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent, by writing to info@dermazur.ca or calling (438) 906‑5777. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

• Prices shown are per session, before taxes, and may change; the consultation is free.
• Treatment results vary from person to person; no individual outcome is promised. Eligibility questions (pregnancy, medication, skin conditions) are assessed during the consultation.
• Equipment images used with the manufacturer's authorization or under licence.
