Acne & scarring

Two different situations, and two answers. The Biophora salicylic peel exfoliates the surface and clears congested pores. Microneedling works lower down, on the texture and the marks left behind, by restarting your own collagen, which rebuilds over several weeks.

What is happening in the skin.

Two things are happening, and they do not run on the same calendar. At the surface, sebum and dead cells block pores, and the skin reacts. Lower down, inflammation that lasted leaves a texture: hollows, relief, a coloured mark that takes months to fade on its own. One is worked through the surface, the other from underneath.

Our answer

The treatment we steer toward.

Chemical peels + LED

30–40 min · from $135 per session

The Biophora salicylic peel is a controlled acid exfoliation. It works on the layer where pores block, and it helps your skincare absorb better afterwards. The peels are medical‑grade, and the acid is matched to your skin rather than applied by default.

Microneedling + LED

45–75 min · from $125 per session

Microneedling works on the texture. A fine‑needle pen opens micro‑channels that switch on your own collagen and elastin, with LED layered on top to speed repair. Collagen rebuilds over several weeks, which is why this treatment is worked as a course rather than as a single session.

The limits, said plainly

What it fixes, and what it does not.

An active breakout and an old scar are treated neither on the same day nor in the same way, and the order matters: the surface first, the texture after. Inflammatory acne that is progressing belongs with a doctor, and the consultation says so plainly when that is the case. What is worked on here is the skin: the pores, the surface, the relief.

Can active breakouts and scars be treated at the same time?
Rarely in the same session. Peels first calm the surface, then microneedling refines the texture, in the order set for your skin at your consultation.
How many sessions?
Peels and microneedling unfold as a course of three or six sessions, in step with the skin’s natural cycles. The number adjusts to how your skin responds from one session to the next.
